Your parents deserve help they'll actually use

AskDiya is a WhatsApp companion for elderly parents — answering their tech questions, spotting scams, and keeping you informed. They just type or send a voice note on WhatsApp — the app they already use every day.

Sound familiar?

Every day, millions of elderly parents in India struggle alone with technology — and their children carry the weight of guilt.

😰

"Ma ne phir call kiya…"

Your parents call mid-meeting to ask why YouTube isn't working. You feel terrible saying you'll call back later.

🚨

Scam messages every week

"You've won ₹10 lakh — click here." Your parents don't always know what's fake. The risk is real.

📱

They don't want to feel helpless

Your parents want to video call the grandchildren, watch their shows, and use WhatsApp confidently. They just need someone patient to ask — even by voice note.

Simple as sending a WhatsApp message

No new apps. No confusing interfaces.

Just WhatsApp — the one thing your parents already know.

Built on trust, not technology

"Papa wanted to go to the mandir on Tuesday morning. He messaged AskDiya, they walked him through booking an Ola with cash payment. He went on his own. He called me after and said 'aaj mujhe kisi ka wait nahi karna pada.'"

— Priya S., Bengaluru

"Ma got a scam message about her bank account. AskDiya caught it instantly and alerted me. I was in a meeting in London — I would have never known."

Common questions

What if my parents aren't tech-savvy at all?+
That's exactly who AskDiya is built for! If your parents can send a WhatsApp message — even a voice note — they can use AskDiya. We reply in simple language, one step at a time, with patience and kindness.
What languages does AskDiya support?+
AskDiya supports Hindi and English on all plans. The Care and Family plans include multilingual support for Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, and more. Your parents can even switch between languages mid-conversation.
Who is actually answering my parents' questions?+
A trained care team that specialises in helping elderly Indians with technology. They're patient, they speak your parents' language, and they understand the apps and services your parents use daily. Think of it as a helpful, tech-savvy neighbour who's always available — except they never get tired and never judge.
My parents live alone — can AskDiya check on them?+
Yes! On the Family plan, AskDiya sends proactive check-in messages to your parents. If there's no response for an unusual period, we alert you. It's like having a caring neighbour who checks in regularly.
Why not just teach my parents to use Google or ChatGPT?+
You could try — but think about why you haven't already. Google gives 10 blue links in English with ads. ChatGPT requires downloading a new app, creating an account, and learning how to prompt it — and then your parents are alone with a tool that doesn't know them, doesn't speak naturally in their language, gives generic answers, and won't alert you if they're being scammed. AskDiya works inside WhatsApp — the one app your parents already open 20 times a day. No new app, no account, no learning curve. And behind it is a care team that knows Indian apps, speaks your parents' language, remembers what they asked last week, and messages you if something is wrong. It's the difference between handing someone a tool and giving them a person they trust.
How does the scam detection actually work?+
When your parents receive a suspicious message — a fake KYC link, a lottery scam, an OTP request — they simply forward it to AskDiya. Our team reviews it against a continuously updated database of scam patterns targeting Indian users, checks any links for known threats, and responds to your parents in plain Hindi or English explaining exactly why it's dangerous and what to do (usually: nothing — just delete it). At the same time, you receive an alert on your WhatsApp so you're always in the loop. We don't ask your parents for any passwords, OTPs, or bank details — ever. If anyone does, that's the scam.
Can I cancel any time?+
Absolutely. No lock-in contracts, no hidden fees. Cancel via WhatsApp or email any time. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged anything.
